Pickles Barn is in Ireby, which is a small village in Cumbria. It's just outside the Lake District National Park boundary, so you're in the quieter part but still close to everything. It's a barn conversion.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both double beds, upstairs in a mezzanine style. One bathroom, which is a shower room on the ground floor. It has a 4 Star rating. It's modern and clean inside. The stairs up to the bedrooms are a standard flight.
The kitchen is new. It has an induction hob, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. There's a TV with a Fire Stick so you can log into your own streaming accounts. The garden is yours to use, with a patio area.
You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there.
There's a pub in the village, a few minutes walk away. They do food.
Cockermouth is about a ten-minute drive. It's a nice market town with shops and cafes. Keswick is roughly twenty-five minutes by car. That's where you get to Derwentwater and the proper mountain walks. Both are easy to get to.
For wider planning, these are useful: Lake District National Park and National Trust Lake District.
