Visit Padstow to the North, famed for its excellent restaurants, galleries and thriving harbour. From here, hire a bicycle and follow the wonderful Camel Trail, mainly flat and weaving its way 18 miles to Bodmin, through spectacular countryside and coastal vistas and mostly hidden from roads. To the South, find mining country, with remnants of tin mines and engine houses as they punctuate the landscape, a reminder of a once booming industry and now part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once at your lodge, with private parking and impressive ten foot balcony offering the perfect place for morning coffee, al fresco dining or that end of day tipple under the stars, you will find an open plan living space with two very comfortable sofas and, Freeview TV and electric wood burner-effect fire. Two excellent sliding doors bring the outside in, creating a relaxing environment where you can re-charge to your hearts content. The kitchen/dining areas have neat table and four chairs, where you can enjoy your meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms, the master with inviting kingsize bed, Freeview TV and en-suite bathroom, which has both bath and electric shower over. Bedroom two has two cosy single beds. There is also a family bathroom with shower cubicle. Throughout, the décor is bright with subtle shades and hues.
On-site, there is a heated indoor swimming pool open all year round and during Peak Season there is an adventure playground and skate park for the young ones in your party to enjoy! During Peak Season and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in low season, the excellent restaurant and bar is also open for guests. Beach 3½ miles.
