Upon entering the holiday home, you will be welcomed into the entrance area which leads to the two bedrooms on the ground floor. There is also a wet room and a washing machine in the hallway cupboard on the ground floor. Head upstairs to discover the beautiful open plan kitchen, dining and living area which feels bright and spacious. Wind down and watch a film on the comfortable sofas after a busy day exploring Devon. The space is furnished with a Smart Freeview TV, a wood burner and plenty of seating, including a double sofa bed which is for flexible sleeping arrangmennts only. The dining table offers a great place to enjoy a celebratory meal and the kitchen is well-equipped. The master bedroom is also on the first floor and it is stylishly furnished with a kingsize four poster bed, wardrobe and a Freeview Smart TV. The family bathroom is fitted with a bath, walk-in shower, heated towel rail, toilet and sink.
Coombeshead Barn is situated one mile from the small town of Chudleigh, with plenty of old country restaurants and pubs in the vicinity. Dartmoor National Park is less than 2 miles away, and the proximity of the A38 gives easy access to Cornwall and North Devon. The beaches of Teignmouth, Shaldon and Torbay are all within a short drive, as are the historic cities of Plymouth and Exeter. The farm is set within 25 acres of land that guests are welcome to use. There is an ancient organic cider apple orchard, an unspoilt meadow abounds with wildflowers and butterflies, ponds and a stream. In the 15-acre dog walking field there is a copse and an area where the wild deer can often be spotted at dawn and dusk. The children’s area has swings, a slide and a trampoline. The animals on the farm are very friendly; the goats and pigs love company, ducks swim on the pond, and chickens free range around the orchard. Beach 9 miles.
