Devon Retreat really is the perfect name for this property. Situated in a quiet residential area you can be sure of a relaxing holiday here. Just a short drive from the bustling town of Paignton, and within walking distance of Broadsands Beach and the South West Coast Path, it’s perfect for families, couples and keen walkers alike. Explore the picturesque coves in the surrounding area or take a short drive to see the stunning tors of Dartmoor.
On entering this cosy bungalow, just off the hall you will find yourself in the comfortable open plan living/dining room. It’s a great space for socialising in, whether it’s playing a board game with the family or sitting down to watch your favourite TV programme.
Leading on from this room is the sunny conservatory, so when everyone else is enjoying the Nintendo Wii, why not retreat here and relax with a drink and a good book?
The three bedrooms are decorated with pictures relating to Devon by a local artist, giving you the perfect inspiration for places to visit during your stay. The modern shower room has a double cubicle, giving you plenty of space for washing off all the sand after a long day at the beach!
Outside, the children can let off steam in the enclosed garden, while you just sit back, close your eyes and enjoy the sunshine or sizzle some sausages on the barbecue.
The seaside resort of Paignton is great for everyone, young and old, with so much to see and do. Visit the fantastic Paignton Zoo, play a spot of crazy golf or even take a steam train ride along the beautiful Devon coastline. If you don’t fancy cooking, try out one of the many restaurants serving fresh seafood in the Torbay area. Local shops are just a 10-15 minute walk, and supermarkets are a short drive.
