Ebb Tide Cottage
As you enter Ebb Tide Cottage through the characterful lanes of Shaldon you find yourself in the open hallway. From here there is a door into the living area with plenty of sofa and armchair seating and TV with Freeview. The kitchen/dining area is next to this room and is equipped with all you could need for rustling up a family meal before a day out at the nearby Shaldon beach! There is a utility area just outside of the kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine and there is a very handy downstairs shower room also, a great addition for washing off the sand after a day out soaking up the sun.
The rear patio garden is just off of the utility area and is a great courtyard area with seating and coal BBQ for relaxing and enjoying the last of the evening sun. Upstairs are the three main bedrooms, two to the front of the property and one towards the back. One of the front bedrooms contains two single beds and the other benefits from a kingsize bed. The rear bedroom contains a double bed. All the bedrooms have storage for packing those suitcases away. The family bathroom is also on the first floor with bath and shower attachment.
Ebb Tide Cottage is a great base in the heart of Shaldon for exploring not only the highly renowned village and beaches of Shaldon itself, but also the nearby town of Teignmouth which is just 1 mile away. Not to mention the rest of the English Riviera and South Hams! There is a passenger ferry from the beach across to Teignmouth taking just a few minutes. This is Britain’s oldest passenger ferry. Beach 170 yards.
