Beech Cottage

Beech Cottage is an exceptionally well-presented, three-bedroom holiday home situated in the grounds of a country house on the outskirts of Puddington near Tiverton in mid-Devon. This semi-detached character cottage has three bedrooms, two shower rooms, free off-road parking and a large garden. Arranged over two floors, it briefly comprises an entrance hall with a utility area, a living room, kitchen/dining room and a ground floor master bedroom with a kingsize bed, walk-in dressing room and an en-suite shower room. Head up to the first floor to discover the family shower room and two further bedrooms; one with a double bed and the other with a super kingsize zip and link bed which can be set up as twin beds if requested. The living room is comfortably furnished with plenty of seating, a Smart TV with Freeview and patio doors to the rear overlooking and leading out to the garden. The garden offers the perfect fully enclosed spot for al fresco dining and has an attractive patio area, a large lawn and garden furniture. The kitchen/dining room feels bright and stylish; it features an arched window at one end and a vaulted ceiling with wooden beams. It is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare a homecooked meal.
Puddington is an attractive small village situated in the heart of rural mid Devon, about nine miles from the town of Tiverton and eight miles from Crediton. There are some fantastic local pubs within four miles of the cottage and a good range of shops, services and supermarkets in Tiverton, which also provides easy access to the North Devon link road and Tiverton Parkway train station.
This part of Devon is an excellent touring base with easy access to lots of places of interest. Nearby you can explore the Two Moors Way, visit RHS Rosemoor, The Grand Western Canal, Knightshayes House or the breathtaking scenery at Exmoor National Park, a short drive away. There are plenty of National Trust properties in the area, as well as some fabulous villages and farm shops. The accommodation is set midway between Devon’s two coastlines, convenient for a day out to either. The award-winning North Devon coastline, with its golden sandy surfing beaches, is within a 50-minute drive and the Jurassic South Devon coastal beauty spots are within an hour’s drive.
