Annie’s is a spacious one-bedroom holiday home situated on the western edge of Dartmoor National Park just outside the pretty village of Bratton Clovelly. With a bright open plan kitchen and living space, off road parking and easy access to some of the most picturesque landscapes in the UK, this property is a perfect base for a couple looking to explore what Dartmoor has to offer.
The property has been thoughtfully setup with level access via a sloping ramp and wide doorways for wheelchair access. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking up a romantic holiday feast. The dining table offers a great space for enjoying a home-cooked meal and the living area is the perfect spot to relax in after a busy day exploring Devon and Cornwall. The nearby picturesque village of Bratton Clovelly is just a short five minute drive away and is home to a highly recommended pub where a warm welcome, fine ales and good food awaits. Home to 368 square miles of natural delights, Dartmoor National Park boasts a plethora of walking and cycling routes leading you through steep wooded river valleys to enticing archaeological sites. There’s so much to explore here, with ample opportunities for outdoor activity including canoeing, climbing, geocaching and more. The property’s West Devon location means that it is possible to reach both the north and south coasts of Cornwall and Devon in under an hour. Access to the Granite Way cycle path is just 15 minutes’ drive away and the starting point for the popular 180 mile Tarka Trail route is just 30 minutes’ drive away, incorporating one of the country’s longest continuous traffic free walking and cycling paths. There are also plenty of local beauty spots nearby, including Roadford Lake, Okehampton Castle and Meldon Reservoir. Beach 23 miles.
