Sitting right on the estuary in the pretty North Devon fishing village of Appledore, with breathtaking ocean and estuary views, Irsha Street is the perfect choice for a luxury coastal holiday for families and couples at any time of year. With a stunning waterfront position, this delightful terraced property, refurbished in 2018, is arranged over three floors. The living area on the ground floor has amazing views and large glazed doors opening out onto a terrace, where you can enjoy a morning coffee and breathe in the sea air. Some previous guests have even cast a line off the terrace and caught their supper! A second sitting room/snug on the first floor enjoys more estuary views and opens onto a larger terrace, perfect for a lazy breakfast whilst you plan your day. The coastline in both directions offers some of the most breathtaking scenery in the West Country, and there are many long sandy beaches and hidden coves to explore. Appledore, with its cobbled streets and bustling quayside, is ideally placed to explore this glorious location. Just a short walk away is a vast array of popular village pubs, restaurants, cafés and shops, there really is something to please everyone. You can take the ferry to Instow, which is on the opposite side of the estuary, with its sandy beach, bars and restaurants, and the wide golden sandy beach of Northam Burrows.
Westward Ho!, popular with surfers, is just 1 mile away. Bideford, Exmoor, Clovelly and Hartland Quay are close by, and the area is a must for water sports, sailing enthusiasts and fishermen. Walkers and cyclists will enjoy the famous Tarka Trail, which passes close by. Young and old will enjoy crabbing off the quay, and golf and horse riding are available locally. For family fun, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Parks are close by, and don’t miss the annual Appledore Regatta and the Book Festival. Beach 1 mile.
