With views to the front meadow and surrounding woodland this detached barn conversion was refurbished in November 2020. On the 1st floor The Barn has an open-plan living space with a Smart TV, an electric fire and a fitted kitchen with all you’ll need for your stay. On the ground floor there is the double bedroom and a bathroom with a bath with shower over.
Outside you can enjoy the shared grounds which includes a large level paddock, perfect for kids and dogs to run around in, a further field opposite where you can meet the owners’ two Shetland ponies, a small children’s play area, a terrace lawn with seating, an orchard and a covered games room with darts, table football, table tennis and a selection of lawn games. There’s also a central laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and a freezer with the drawers labelled for each property’s private use.
Berrynarbor is a small and beautiful village on the slopes of a lovely valley which is rich in meadow and pastureland. The surrounding area has many attractions waiting to be discovered such as the local beaches and in particular Combe Martin, just 2 miles away where you can enjoy the stunning sunsets of the North Devon coast. Nearby is Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park and the surrounding area boasts other attractions such as Cairn Woodland Nature Reserve, Watermouth Bay & the Southwest Coast Path, the lovely Fuchsia Valley, Watermouth Castle & Theme Park and don’t forget the nearby town of Ilfracombe with its very own harbour and port which dates back to at least the 12th-century with quality ice cream, fish & chips and various craft shops plus Damien Hirst’s Verity statue which is a must see.
