A must-visit is the famous Tunnels Beaches; four tunnels hand-carved in the 1820s leading to a beach and Victorian tidal bathing pool. Just a few miles drive away, you can find more wonderful coastal spots like Woolacombe, Saunton Sands and Croyde, all renowned surfing spots which are popular with families because of the safe shallow waters and RNLI lifeguards during the season.
