Stocklea is an extremely well presented and spacious country house benefiting from amazing panoramic and far-reaching countryside views that you’ll never get bored of! Access is either by way of steps to the front or a handy ramp to the side of the property. On the ground floor there is a large lounge with cosy double sided wood burner, smart TV and doors leading into the conservatory which has additional seating and a pool table. There is also an additional sitting room with a TV with Sky Sports, a downstairs toilet and a large kitchen/diner offering everything you need including a TV, dishwasher, and wine cooler for a home from home entertaining/cooking experience. Off the kitchen is a utility room with a washer/dryer. Upstairs you will find the five bedrooms, a king size and four doubles. The main bedroom has views to die for and a shareable walk-through dressing area and an en-suite bathroom with bath and separate double shower cubicle. There is also a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubicle. Outside you can enjoy the ample garden and patio areas with lots of seating and space to run around in. Plus, there’s the seven person hot tub with adjacent handy changing shed with a fridge/freezer, seating & extra towels provided.
Frithelstock Stone is a village surrounded by the parishes of Monkleigh, Great Torrington, Little Torrington, Langtree, and Buckland Brewer. And the popular Tarka Trail can be accessed locally and provides the unique opportunity to follow a disused railway line on foot or by bicycle allowing you to enjoy some of Devon’s finest countryside and river scenery which will take you through places like Fremington Quay & Yarde with their excellent cafés, Instow with its estuary beach and view towards the lovely fishing village of Appledore through to Bideford, Barnstaple and beyond.
