Week Farm Cottages are the perfect choice for families, couples and friends. Nestled on the edge of the owners working beef and sheep farm, and popular 17th-century B&B, in the stunning Dartmoor region where you can relax and enjoy all that this breathtaking location has to offer. Surrounded by some of the country’s most beautiful landscapes, with Dartmoor and the lovely rolling hills of Devon on your doorstep yet within easy reach of the coast, you’ll find a holiday at Week Farm has something for everyone. On the farm there are three coarse fishing lakes, lakeside walks, and a conservation area where many rare plants and wildlife live and thrive.
There is no other place to equal the wild and rugged landscapes of Dartmoor National Park. Just 1½ miles away you will see Dartmoor ponies and nature at every turn, pretty little Dartmoor villages, castles, culture, and an altogether slower pace of life. You can settle down at a Dartmoor pub, or find an idyllic spot to enjoy a picnic whilst taking in the spectacular scenery.
Within just a few miles of Week Farm you will find fishing, tennis, horse riding and pony trekking and two 18-hole golf courses. There are miles of cycling and walking opportunities, and plenty of guided walks and tours. The Tarka Trail is one of the country’s longest continuous traffic-free walking and cycling paths, and forms part of the Devon Coast to Coast Cycle Route. This is great for all the family and bikes can be hired from nearby Okehampton.
Roadford Reservoir offers a wonderful sailing experience, watersports and lovely lakeside walks and is located just 12 miles away. The pretty towns of Okehampton and Tavistock are close by and there are many beautiful gardens including RHS Rosemoor and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Devon and Cornwall coastal walking, which boasts fantastic sandy beaches and hidden coves ideal for surfing or exploring the many rock pools, and the famous Eden Project are all easily accessible. Beach 25 miles. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
The Lodge, The Jasmine and The Apple Cellar can be booked together to accommodate up to 15 guests.
