This delightful, contemporary house arranged over three floors, enjoys stunning estuary views and is just a short walk from a vast array of popular village pubs, restaurants, cafés, galleries and shops. The sunny decked balcony that leads from the living area is the perfect spot to relax with a morning coffee, soaking in the sights and sounds of this beautiful North Devon coastal village. With a light and airy, contemporary living area, well-equipped kitchen and three pretty bedrooms, it provides an idyllic base for families, friends, and couples of all ages. The property also has its own parking space, which is very useful and hard to come by in this popular fishing village.
Appledore, with its cobbled streets and the bustling quayside, is ideally placed to explore this glorious location. You can take the ferry to Instow, which is on the opposite side of the estuary, with its sandy beach, bars and restaurants, and the wide golden sandy beach of Northam Burrows and Westward Ho! popular with surfers, is just 1 mile. Bideford, Exmoor, Clovelly and Hartland Quay are close by, and the area is a must for water sports, sailing enthusiasts and fishermen, whilst walkers and cyclists will enjoy the famous Tarka Trail which passes close by. The North Devon Coastal Path is just a 5 minute walk from Cove Cottage, meaning almost immediate access to miles of dog friendly walks and stunning sea views. Young and old will enjoy crabbing off the quay and golf and riding is available locally. For family fun, The Big Sheep and Milky Way Adventure parks are close by, and for an adrenalin fuelled day, why not try the Ultimate Adventure Centre, or the North Devon Wakepark for water sports fun? All of this, along with the annual Appledore Regatta and the internationally acclaimed Book Festival, is why there are plenty of holiday memories to be made here.
