Ferndale Cottage
Ferndale Cottage is a lovely holiday home set in an idyllic area, close to the picturesque harbour. The cottage is perfectly placed on the edge of Exmoor National Park and Lynmouth which provides excellent access to explore the beautiful moors with its breath taking views and unspoilt landscapes.
From the cottage the quaint harbour is in walking distance as are the local amenities, with its stunning coastal views. Delightful countryside and river walks await you and surround the property. You can visit Lynton by taking the famous Victorian water powered Cliff railway offering spectacular outlook over this striking area. If you want to explore further afield there are weekly markets held at Barnstable’s Pannier Market, whilst Ilfracombe offers many family attractions such as Tunnels Beach, Landmark Theatre, sandy beaches and boat trips to Lundy Island. The beaches and areas of Saunton, Putsborough, Woolacombe and Croyde are all within easy driving distance, as are many local National Trust properties. The National Trust’s Watersmeet is nearby, and beauty spots include the Valley of the Rocks and the Doone Valley.
This is an ideal location for exploring the splendour of Exmoor on foot or by car, and everything this coastline has to offer from character villages and towns to beautiful beaches.
