The Lake House

Escape to this glorious haven of peace and tranquility and enjoy the magic of nature at this eco-friendly holiday home! The Lake House was built in 2020 and combines modern living with natural surroundings.
This private rural escape has three bedrooms, sociable living area, BBQ and large decking overlooking the lake. Ideal for families, nature lovers and couples. Whilst The Lake House is hidden away from civilisation, it’s certainly not off grid! The open plan kitchen and living area has a Smart TV with DVD and Amazon Prime, 4G hub and an Echo Dot. There is a beautiful dining table and the large patio sliding door opens onto the decking so you can always admire the magnificent view and feel part of the great outdoors. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Discover the three beautiful bedrooms, the master with a kingsize bed and French doors opening onto the decking, a second room a kingsize bed and a third bedroom with bunk beds . The bedrooms each have bedside tables with drawers or a rail for hanging clothes. There is room in the master bedroom for a travel cot which we can provide if requested. The stylish family bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower, toilet, sink and Faith in Nature toiletries.
Staying here offers guests their own private paradise and we recommend spending time by the lake and just relaxing. However, if you like lots of days out there are many local attractions within 30 minutes drive such as two National Trust properties, Haddon Hill and Wimbleball Lake, Devon Railway Centre, Bickleigh Mill, Quince Honey Farm and Exmoor Pony Centre. The property is just 2 miles from The North Devon Link Road and the beautiful beaches are about an hour away. Beach 23 miles.
