Welcome to Rews Barn, a delightful 2 bedroom barn conversion set in a beautiful rural location just outside of Wellington and enjoying walks in every direction.
Upon entry you are greeted by the tastefully furnished living room, with wood-effect electric burner, perfect for cosy evenings in after a long day of exploring Somerset. The large kitchen/dining is fully equipped with a double oven, electric hob, fridge/freezer and benefits from underfloor heating, also featuring French doors leading out onto a private terrace. Leading off from the kitchen is the downstairs WC and a utility room with washing machine. Heading upstairs you have the beautiful master bedroom with its vaulted ceiling and views over the Somerset hills towards Wellington Monument, the spacious en-suite has a large shower cubicle and heated towel rail. The second bedroom has a single bed and also has an en-suite with shower and heated towel rail.
Outside, the private terrace with seating area looks out onto a garden, and the tennis court can be used, by prior arrangement. Rews Barn is set in the peaceful hamlet of East Nynehead, only 2 miles from the market town of Wellington with its mix of small independent stores and larger chain stores and supermarkets. In under a 10-minute drive from Rews Barn you can reach the wonderful farm shop at Rumwell, with its extensive local produce and beautiful café. Be sure to visit Somerset’s own Sheppey’s Cider, where you can take a tour, sample some of the local cider and enjoy a meal in their fabulous restaurant! Under a mile away is a great food serving pub. Hill walking is available on the nearby Quantocks Hills and the Exmoor National Park to the west. The picturesque Jurassic Coast of Dorset, including the stunning harbour of Lyme Regis, is 30 miles to the south. Beach 18 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
