On entering into the warm, cosy living room with its multi-fuel burner you will feel right at home. The owners have furnished this mid-terrace to a very good standard yet retaining the traditional cottage feel. The modern, well equipped kitchen with its distinctive blue cupboards, oak worktops, dishwasher, ceramic sink and coffee machine has everything you need if you want to cook a lovely meal or enjoy a takeaway from the village local! There is a large shower room downstairs with heated towel rail. Upstairs there is a gorgeous double bedroom with views of the church and a large single bedroom with garden views and an en-suite toilet. Outside, the pretty enclosed cottage garden has a seating area perfect for unwinding after a day exploring all Dorset has to offer you.
The large village of Beaminster has shops, pubs and restaurants as well as the famous Clipper Tea factory, all the while being surrounded by glorious countryside and walks in every direction. The larger town of Bridport is nearby with its eclectic mix of independent and larger chain stores. Just on from here is the seaside harbour of West Bay, made famous by the ITV show ’Broadchurch’ and the Nick Berry show ’Harbour Lights’. The larger seaside town of Lyme Regis is under 30 minutes drive away. Head to Dorchester for the day and discover the experimental new town of Poundbury, designed by Prince Charles and due to complete in 2025. Beach 8 miles. Shop and pub 180 yards, restaurant 100 yards.
