Peach cottage is very close to the stunning beaches of Dorset’s Jurassic coast, as well as the wonderful walking country accessible from the front door. It is a refurbished new build thatched cottage which sleeps up to nine guests and welcomes dogs. Inside the property all the rooms are spacious with high ceilings. The living room has a view of the stream and some delightful historic cottages. There is a new kitchen which is well-equipped and has a sitting area next to it which includes two sofas, a TV and a games console. The two new modern bathrooms have walk in power showers, and a bath. The large rear garden is secluded and enclosed with outdoor seating areas, great to spend those warm summer evenings in. There are two parking spaces with plenty of further parking on the public road if needed.
Situated in the Old village of Wool the cottage is in a quiet conservation area with a brook with ducks outside the door. There is an excellent bakery, a well-stocked village shop/post office, a butcher with a fish counter, a delicatessen, a fish, and chip shop, and two very good village pubs, each within 5-10 minutes’ walk. A short drive from the cottage you will find the historic market county town of Dorchester and the Saxon walled towns of Wareham, Corfe Castle, and Tyneham Village. Some of Purbeck’s most loved attractions are also on the doorstep of Wool, RSPB Arne, the Tank Museum, Clouds Hil, the home of Lawrence of Arabia, and Monkey World rescue centre We aim to provide touches of luxury with comfort and functionality.
