Welcome to Chesil Cottage, a charming Portland stone 1860’s Fisherman’s cottage which is newly renovated in a beautiful location at the end of a quiet no-through-road with spectacular sea views.
Stepping inside Chesil cottage, you are welcomed into the living room with a Purbeck stone fireplace. French doors lead out on to the front courtyard where you can sit and enjoy views across Chesil Beach, stylish new sofas and a Smart TV. The separate dining room which also has French doors that lead on to the rear of the courtyard garden is the perfect place for all the family to enjoy a meal, with a small work/PlayStation for both and adults and children to get some quiet time before heading out to explore the many beautiful places Dorset has to offer. The kitchen is well equipped with a Range oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. At the rear of the kitchen is the downstairs toilet. On the first floor, you will the find the large family bathroom with a roll-top bath, large shower unit and heated towel rail. A utility room/studio room is off the bathroom with views across on the upper deck garden. Bedroom one is located at the front of property with a kingsize bed and walk-in wardrobe with separate work/PlayStation. A further two spacious bedrooms can be found on the second floor both with kingsize beds and spectacular views are enjoyed from the front bedrooms and their window seats. Outside, you will find the rear courtyard garden, which is split over two floors, the ground floor is perfect to store the bucket and spades/surfboards for those summer days on the beach.
The upper patio ’Skydeck’ which is where the seating is located, is the perfect place to relax with a morning coffee or evening dinner with stunning views across Chesil Beach.
Located within walking distance of Chesil Beach, this is one place where you will want to explore with miles and miles of coastline which forms part of the first World Heritage UNESCO site of this 95-mile Coastline which includes Poole to Lyme Regis. Beach 1 mile.
