The Cow Shed

The Cow Shed is accessed by a private lane leading up to an electric gated complex. This stunning two bedroomed barn has very recently been converted to offer a modern, stylish and open interior living space with great attention to detail, retaining vaulted ceilings and original features. The spacious living area has two love seats, two armchairs and a 55" TV, whilst the dining area has a solid wood dining table and 6 chairs; these are placed in front of large double-aspect, south-facing French doors for a beautiful view across Dorset, and there is a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and seating. Both the bedrooms are en-suite and offer plenty of storage with fitted double wardrobes and chest of drawers, and complementary bath robes. Slippers and toiletries have also been provided for the ultimate in guests’ comfort. The barn includes its very own private hot tub, accessed via the utility/shower room, which is situated on a generous elevated decked terrace offering incredible views of Dorset’s beautiful countryside including the Golden Cap! The terrace also has ample comfortable garden furniture with a parasol for you and your guests to enjoy, perfect for sitting outside on a beautiful day to admire the impressive views all around.
There is plenty to see and do with the charming towns of Sherborne and Yeovil just a few miles away with a great range of independent eateries and shops and its stunning abbey. If the weather is not on your side, both Haynes Motor Museum and Fleet Air Arm Museum are just a few miles away and well worth a visit. When the sun shines, head to the coast and the stunning Jurassic Coastline less than an hour away with charming coastal villages, harbour towns and hidden coves to explore. We are sure this is one holiday home you will want to return to again and again.
