Welcome to Bath Tub Cottage, a delightful terraced cottage within easy walking distance of Cheddar and it’s wonderful amenities. Step inside to the warm and welcoming lounge, with its original flagstone flooring contrasting beautifully with the more modern furniture, it truly invites you in. The lounge also has an electric wood burner and Smart TV, perfect for cosy evenings in after a day out exploring the area! Head through to the kitchen/diner, extremely well equipped with all you could need during your stay including fridge freezer, electric hob and oven, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining area is the ideal spot for meals at any time of day as well as playing games with the family! Upstairs on the first floor, you will find the master bedroom with Oak Frame King Size bed, Bedroom 2 is a snug/bedroom with double sofa bed and the family bathroom which has a bath with shower over. On the second floor you have the 3rd bedroom with king sized bed and views over the garden. All the bedrooms have TV’s and Egyptian cotton sheets for a perfect nights sleep!
The hidden gem is of course the back garden, set on 2 levels with the first level having an utterly wonderful Claw Foot Bath, with hot and cold running water, completely screened for privacy, this is the ultimate in bathing under the stars! The garden has been thoughtfully planted with exotic and native plants, allowing you to feel as though you are nestled in nature! At the top of this fabulous garden is a summer house and BBQ area, Kick back, relax and enjoy your view after another fabulous day in Bath Tub Cottage! Another awesome feature of the cottage is the location, leave the car alone and stroll into the village centre where you will be greeted by a myriad of pubs, tea rooms, independent stores and of course the Famous Cheddar Cheese shops! Play Crazy Golf or stroll along the river and enjoy the views. For the more adventurous, walk-through Cheddar Gorge, tackle Jacobs Ladder and explore the fantastic caves. Cheddar Reservoir is a must do, especially with kids and dogs, the 2. 2 mile loop is completely flat and is great for all the family to enjoy, feed the ducks and watch the windsurfers with an ice cream, see if you can spot Glastonbury Tor in the distance too!
