There are also two castles to explore, one built by Sir Walter Raleigh. The pretty Dorset village of Bradford Abbas is a mile away, where you would find a traditional pub serving delicious home cooked food and a village store. A little further afield The New Forest National Park is a stunning place to visit with picture postcard villages and country inns to enjoy or head to the Jurassic coast and marvel at Durdle Door or Lulworth Cove or simple stroll along the prom at Bournemouth’s stunning sandy beaches
