Welcome to Cofastre, a beautiful two-bedroom holiday cottage in the well-known village of Pilton, made famous by the iconic Glastonbury Music Festival held each year here. Stepping inside to the open plan kitchen, dining, and living area, you’ll find a wonderful space that is flooded with light thanks to the stylish roof lantern and large Bi-fold doors that open onto the terrace, truly giving a feel of bringing the outside in. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you may need for rustling up some home cooked meals, even including a washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining area has a lovely table and chairs, perfect for meals at any time of day or playing games! The living room has comfortable sofas to cosy up on after a day out and catch up on your favourite series on the Smart TV. The stylish bathroom has a bath with shower over, stone sink and is complimented by a heated towel rail. From the living room, head up five steps to the bedrooms, to the left you have a gorgeous twin bedroom with dressing table, to the right you have a king size bedroom with light tunnel, dressing table and en-suite shower room with heated towel rail. Bathrobes are also provided. Outside on your terrace you will find your own seating area that overlooks the wooded area beyond with the sound of the stream to relax you before hopping into your fabulous hot tub and gazing at the stars above!
If you can bear to drag yourself away from Cofastre, there is a plethora of wonderful things to do within easy reach. The village of Pilton has a café and local pub to enjoy, or head into the cathedral city of Wells where you can visit the Bishop’s Palace with an abundance of cafés and restaurants and farmers markets twice weekly to explore. The ancient medieval town of Glastonbury is nearby with its wonderful eclectic shops and its Tor that can be seen for miles around, as well as the famous Glastonbury Festival at Worthy Farm which is only a mile away. For more designer bargains, head to the village of Street with its wonderful Clarks Village outlet. Just a 5-minute drive away is The Bath and West Showground which is home to many events throughout the year, from its classic Royal Bath and West show to car festivals and home exhibitions. Bath is an elegant city and is just 45 minutes from the property. Here you can explore the Roman Baths and Thermae Spa, it is overflowing with places to eat and drink and has some of the finest independent shops in Britain. Cheddar, with its gorge and Wookey Hole caves are easily reached in under 30 minutes by car and make for some amazing views and enjoyable exploring for all ages. Beach 24½ miles.
