Ivy Cottage is a charming home that’s just perfect for four guests looking to explore Poole, Bournemouth and The New Forest National Park. It offers two double bedrooms, a bathroom, an open-plan living/dining room along with a well-equipped kitchen, separate utility room and a private garden.
The cottage offers comfortable accommodation for a short break, but equally well-positioned to use as a base for a longer stay to explore this wonderful area. A short stroll away you will find two bustling suburbs of Poole, offering a wide range of shops and independent bars, and places to eat. A short drive to the east is the nature reserve of Hengistbury Head, which offers some lovely walks. Bournemouth town centre is a couple of miles away, so why not take a ride on the Bournemouth Eye, which rises high above the town to give the most amazing panoramic views over the whole area, or try the zip wire from the pier to the beach.
Beaulieu, with its world-renowned National Motor Museum, Palace House, and Beaulieu Abbey, are 20 miles away. The beautiful New Forest National Park is within 5 miles of the cottage and is home to great country walks, village inns and wild roaming ponies and donkeys. Christchurch Priory, Mudeford Key, Poole Harbour, Highcliffe Castle and the National Trust’s Brownsea Island are all worth a visit during your stay.
