The Posh Pod
Nestled on the edge of the owner’s farmland overlooking fields, The Posh Pod sleeps four - two adults on a double bed in the living area that converts to seating, and bunk beds for the children in the bedroom. Attention to detail has really gone into this space maximising storage and comfort. There is a fantastic shower room and modern kitchen with everything you need for cooking up a holiday meal. There is also a TV and a DVD player to snuggle up in front of after a busy day. Guests can also enjoy the large garden in front of the pod and beautiful walks around the field behind the owners house. For those wanting to travel with another family, there is also a shepherd’s hut making it the perfect getaway for friends or families.
The area has plenty of attractions for all ages, within easy reach are Paultons Park, Marwell Zoo, the cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury, and maritime history at Southampton, where you can take a ferry to the Isle of Wight. The New Forest is a short drive away, which has hundreds of free roaming ponies, cattle and deer. There are 150 miles of gravel roads in the forest, perfect for cyclists and horse riders with acres of open heathland. New Forest attractions include Beaulieu Palace House, Abbey and Motor Museum, New Forest Museum and Visitors Centre, Bucklers Hard and Exbury Gardens plus lots of various towns and villages to discover. Bournemouth is renowned for its clean sandy beaches, year-round entertainment and facilities. Within an hour’s drive, is the historic naval port of Portsmouth with designer shopping, waterside dining, The Warrior and HMS Victory, and Portchester Castle. Beach 22½ miles.
