Oakfield is a wonderful house that offers ideal accommodation for families or friends to use as a relaxed weekend bolthole, but is also ideally located to use as a base for a longer stay from which to explore this wonderful part of Wiltshire. The property itself provides 3 bedrooms, a kingsize, twin and a double room with a small double bed suitable for one person. Along with this there are 3 bathrooms, a good sized living/dining room with smart TV along with a well fitted kitchen along with a utility room, outside a fully enclosed garden is perfect for kids and dogs to run around in safety.
The village itself is well served with a well-stocked Coop shop and a village pub, both just a short stroll from the house. Shrewton is perfectly located to explore the vast wildlife haven that is Salisbury Plain. The impressive Neolithic stones of Stonehenge are a short drive away as is the stunning Cathedral City of Salisbury and is well worth a visit with a fabulous selection of independent shops, pubs and eateries and of course the impressive cathedral. For the perfect family trip Longleat House and Safari Park is just half an hour’s drive away and is certain to impress guests of all ages. A little further afield, the stunning city of Bath famous for its Spa and majestic Royal Crescent is well worth a trip.
