Found on the western edge of the New Forest National Park, The Barn is a sympathetic barn conversion on the small working farm of Upper Kingston. Two miles outside Ringwood in Hampshire it offers very comfortable accommodation for up to four guests. The Barn is a semi-detached conversion next to The Granary. Retaining many original features this family-friendly holiday cottage is laid out over two floors. With underfloor heating throughout it also has a wood burner in the main living room for late autumn winter and early spring holidays. Within that space there is also a fully equipped kitchen with a fitted dishwasher. The Barn has two bedrooms one a double and one a twin and both rooms have en-suite shower rooms. Upper Kingston is just 2 miles from the centre of Ringwood a historic Market town located on the River Avon and on the edge of the New Forest National Park. It is an ideal touring base for visiting the south coast of England and surrounding area. It is a good location for visiting Beaulieu and Bucklers Hard two favourite and well-known attractions. Ringwood has long been associated with beer making and Ringwood Brewery just a mile away offers brewery tours. For an action packed holiday then Ringwood has plenty to offer. At Moors Valley Country Park you can take a Segway Forest Safari or zip wire through the trees. At Blashford Lakes just a short drive away the Ellingham Water ski club organises water skiing wake boarding and even a ride on an inflatable banana. At New Forest Activities in Beaulieu you can enjoy Archery hire a kayak enjoy raft building or take a bushcraft course and throughout the New Forest horse riding and bike hire can be organised. At the Ski Centre just a few miles away you can learn to ski or ride a ski bob or ringo down the slopes.
The sandy beaches of Bournemouth are just 9 miles away and Sandbanks with its Blue Flag award can be reached in 13 miles. At Hengistbury Head Beach and Nature Reserve there is a land train that takes you to Mudeford beach with its picturesque beach huts. Places to visit include, Beaulieu Motor Museum and Bournemouth Aviation Museum.
