Welcome to The Smythy, newly renovated in 2022 to a high standard this is a fabulous place to escape yet enjoy some fabulous food and drink right on your doorstep!
Tucked away in a lawned garden, head up the steps and into The Smythy where the open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen are waiting for you. The lounge area has a comfy sofa and Smart TV to relax and enjoy, the handcrafted kitchen comes extremely well equipped with electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and coffee maker and the dining area sits centrally between the lounge and kitchen. Up two steps into the bedroom, with a beautiful king-sized bed, dressing table with mirror and Smart TV, the en-suite shower room has a corner shower and Heated towel rail. Should you not fancy cooking, the owner’s country pub, The Globe Inn, is directly adjacent and offers fabulous country food and a warm welcoming atmosphere, it has a large beer garden for the summer and cosy wood burners for the winter .
Jump in the car and explore the Quantocks, Exmoor or the beaches of Minehead and Porlock on the north Somerset coastline. The town of Wellington is within easy reach for all your shopping needs or head to the county town of Taunton for a larger range of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues.
