This beautiful Grade II listed cottage is hidden away from view, yet has all Dunsters amenities on its doorstep. From the high street, step through the unassuming door into your private walkway where Castle View awaits you.
Enter into the bright open plan living/dining room with wood burner perfect for cosy nights, and a Smart TV to keep the whole family entertained. The fabulously well-equipped modern kitchen has a wonderful breakfast bar, dishwasher, gas hob and electric oven making this a fun space to rustle up a meal at any time of the day. Head upstairs to the bedrooms with the master having a super kingsize sleigh bed, large wardrobe and Smart TV, whilst the second bedroom features twin beds, and the third has a double bed. On this floor, you will also find a family bathroom. Outside to the rear, you have a decked seating area with BBQ and garden furniture where you enjoy views of Dunster Castle.
The main high street of Dunsters has a wealth of independent stores, tea rooms, bars and restaurants. The medieval castle at Dunster is just a stone’s throw from the property and is a great day out no matter your age. Within a 20-minute walk or 3-minute drive you have the beach of Dunster which is dog friendly all year round. Jump on the best Somerset steam railway from Dunster Station and spend the day merrily chugging along the Somerset Coast and countryside to Bishops Lydeard. The larger seaside resort of Minehead is less than a 5 minutes’ drive and has the usual mix of shops, bars, restaurants and beach, as well as large supermarkets. For the walker among you, head to Exmoor and explore the myriad of Quintessential Somerset villages and tearooms with winding rivers and stunning views to behold. Beach 1 mile.
