The Retreat

The Retreat is an end of terrace property in a cul-de-sac located in Minehead and is situated within a mile of the seafront of a lovely seaside town and offers comfortable accommodation for four guests. Updated in 2023, it is well suited for family or friend holidays and is within easy reach of shops, restaurants and the beach.

On the ground floor you’ll find an open plan living and dining area with Smart TV and door leading into the kitchen, and from here a door leads out onto the patio and lawned garden which is enclosed and has a convenient side access gate. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a kingsize and a twin along with a shower room with double shower cubicle.

Minehead is a lovely seaside town that sits on the edge of Exmoor National Park. If walking is your passion, there is no better place to be. Not only do you have Exmoor stretching out before you with its magnificent views, wildlife and cosy pubs, the town is also the starting point of the Southwest Coast Path, the longest countryside trail we have. It’s also the terminus for West Somerset Railway, the longest heritage railway in Britain. Dunster, Exmoor’s prettiest medieval village with its fairytale castle, is less than 2 miles away.

The town offers a wide range of attractions, including the beach, promenade, harbour, beautiful gardens and colourful tree lined avenue with an array of shops and amenities. Dominated by the wooded slopes of North Hill, the whole area is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty and is also well situated to discover the beauty of North Devon with stunning Lynton and Lynmouth en-route.
