The Coach House is a spacious three-bedroom holiday home set within a pretty cluster of conversions in the peaceful village of Willand in Mid Devon, just a five minute drive from Cullompton. This 17th-century coaching inn is a fabulous dwelling at the heart of the Devon countryside, offering a wonderful home-away-from-home for a family or group of seven.
Be welcomed in through the hallway before finding the large and homely living room with a wood burner and plush seating to relax on. You can wind down with a favourite film on the Smart TV after a busy day. The living room also has an Air Mini Atmos-Clear device which is an air sanitising system destroying 99. 9% of all airborne and surface viruses, bacteria and mould. Rustle up some tasty meals within the kitchen/diner which is well-equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge/ freezer, Tassimo coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, bread maker, washing machine and a tumble dryer. From here you can take your morning coffee into the beautiful enclosed garden which features a large patio area, a lawn and outdoor seating with a firepit and barbecue. Heading upstairs, there are three beautiful bedrooms. The master bedroom has a zip and link super kingsize bed, a double day bed and an en-suite which is fitted with an elegant bathtub which has a handheld shower head attachment, heated towel rail, toilet and a double wash basin. The other two bedrooms each have a zip and link super kingsize bed which can be separated into twin beds if requested. The family bathroom is also based on the first floor with a large shower cubicle, heated towel rail, toilet and wash basin, along with a separate cloakroom across the hallway and a second cloakroom on the ground floor.
The Coach House rests just a few minutes walk away from the centre of the village of Willand which has a friendly atmosphere being home to a local Post Office, pub, convenience store, pharmacy and church. Cullompton and the M5 motorway are just a 5-minute drive away, offering easy access to the main roads around Devon.
Explore the wondrous Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where you can delight in plenty of walking and cycling routes, as well as bridleways and riding routes too. Keen walkers should also head to the National Parks at Exmoor and Dartmoor, which are just a 40-minute drive away, and the beautiful East Devon coastline is within a 30-minute drive. To the north you have the beautiful sandy beaches at Combe Martin, Croyde and Woolacombe, and a collection of pretty fishing villages and towns such as Clovelly, Lynton, Lynmouth and Porlock. To the south you have the dramatic red cliffs of Sidmouth, Beer and Branscombe with pebbled beaches, and Exmouth has various watersports on offer.
