Moor Farmhouse

Moor Farmhouse is a spacious three-bedroom holiday home rurally located in the heart of mid-Devon near the village of Morchard Bishop. Based on a working family farm, this property offers the perfect retreat for a family or a group of friends looking to explore the area and to also relax in style. From here you can explore the whole of this popular county including both the north and south coasts, and Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks.
Head inside and you will immediately find yourself in the homely and traditional farmhouse kitchen which is well equipped with everything needed to prepare a meal. The cosy dining/living room offers a table and chairs, comfortable sofas sat beside a Freeview and warming wood burner; the perfect place to relax in style after a day of exploring. There are three bedrooms upstairs, two of which have a double bed and the third has twin beds. There is a shower room and an additional bathroom located side by side, offering the choice of either a relaxing soak or a refreshing shower. The large, secluded garden is fully enclosed with a patio area, lawn and outdoor seating overlooking the fields in the distance.
The immediate area offers lots of lovely walks including a bridleway footpath which leads to the village of Morchard Bishop and 50 acres of woodland to explore. The village is 3 miles away and it has a handy community store and a family-run pub, whereas slightly further afield the historic market town of Crediton boasts a selection of shops, pubs, and a bustling farmers market. Also worth a visit is Tiverton with its castle, museum and country park which runs along the canal. Other attractions and places of interest in the area include the cathedral city of Exeter, Escot, Bickleigh Mill and numerous National Trust properties such as Killerton, and Castle Drogo. Moor Farmhouse is ideal for families and groups of friends looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday.
