This four bedroom house has been substantially updated and is presented to a very high standard with quality fixtures and fittings and provides accommodation over two floors for up to eight people. The spacious living/dining room has a smart TV and a contemporary rectangular electric feature fire plus patio doors that lead out onto the rear garden. Outside there are front and rear gardens that offer a high level of privacy with patios, seating areas and lawns plus a luxurious hot tub area for evenings under the stars.

The sleepy village of Marhamchurch with its thatch and cob cottages has an excellent community spirit and is only a short drive from Bude or, if you prefer, it can be walked via a more direct route. If it’s the beach you want with miles of sand, swimming and surf then you’ll be spoiled for choice. Much of the coastline in this area is owned by the National Trust and is a haven for wildlife, providing fabulous walking opportunities. There are many pretty coves and inlets to discover within a short drive of this cottage including Crackington Haven, Boscastle, Morwenstow and stunning Tintagel, inextricably linked to the legend of King Arthur. Further afield the fishing port of Padstow is a popular tourist destination.

Bude is a fantastic coastal town and has something for everyone including great beaches for relaxing and building sandcastles on, rockpools for investigating at low tide and cafés to watch it all from. The rolling waves are great for surfing all year round and the footpaths by the restored canal or on the Southwest Coast Path offer you a superb opportunity to explore and appreciate the outstanding countryside. Bude also has a superb golf course, indoor swimming pool, bowling alley/indoor play area and a heritage centre at Bude Castle. It also has a good selection of local shops, supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, and an excellent information centre.

The property is also perfectly located for you to discover the many natural delights that North Devon has to offer such as Exmoor National Park with its magical night skies in Europe’s first ’Dark Sky Reserve’, and there are plenty of family-oriented places to visit including Exmoor Zoo, Milky Way Adventure Park, The Big Sheep farm-themed park and many others.
