Meadow View Barn
Meadow View Barn is spacious, detached and rural on a quiet, no-through lane, with walks available from the door. It is located in Northcott, on the Devon and Cornwall border, only 40 minutes from Dartmoor and 30 minutes to the coast, making the property a central base for exploring the rugged moors and the beautiful sandy beaches. Whether it be exploring the traditional market towns of Holsworthy, Launceston and Tavistock, visiting the vibrant coastal resort of Bude, or just relaxing on the numerous unspoilt Cornish beaches, you can be sure to enjoy some of the finest local produce and hospitality in the country.
This traditional barn conversion retains many of its original charming features, including vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and floorboards, yet it has been developed to provide comfortable modern living. Upon entering the property, guests will love the open plan kitchen and dining area. There are walks straight from the front door with bridle paths from the bottom of the lane with a pleasant walk to the village of Boyton and also to woodlands with a stream. Spend the day on one of the three moors, Dartmoor, Bodmin, and Exmoor . Take a bike ride along the Tarka Trail, over 180 miles in length and in places following the banks of the Taw and Torridge Rivers and the disused railway lines, also making it very popular with walkers.
