Lisburne Lodge a Three-story detached Victorian Villa in the sought-after district of Wellswood. A period property that has been decorated to reflect the decadent times of the late 19th Century, which include such features as a grand four poster bed, French Rococo bed, chandeliers, turned staircase, period fireplaces & high ceilings. This is intended to take you away from regular life and give you a feeling of luxury. The property benefits from being in a great location, with a convenience shop being 1/2 min walk away, two restaurants and a takeaway on your doorstep, other shops and restaurants are only a few minutes’ walk away in Wellswood village & the harbour area with its restaurants and bars is just a ten-minute walk away.
Three beautiful beaches are within easy walking distance & bus services operate within a couple minutes’ walk of the property. The Villa also has ample storage for bikes or sports equipment in the generous entrance porches & in utility/storage areas, complete with two washing machines etc. By prior arrangement, two of the bedrooms can be rearranged to have either two single beds or a super king or the other can be a just a double/double with a single & a mattress on the floor to sleep four - the lower lounge is arranged so the double sofa bed could be left as a bed for the duration of your stay as there is plenty of seating with the two main sofas. Again, with prior arrangement, we can provide a travel cot for your baby or toddler to use.
The south facing outdoor space has been thoughtfully designed to let you relax in the sun, surrounded by Mediterranean and tropical planting in the large planter and pots. There are multiple places for you to sit/relax & there is space for four to dine at the bistro table which is located under an Apricot tree. Plus, up to twelve can sit around a large rustic table and benches at the end of the garden.
