Brixham View House
Brixham View House is a lovely property located on a quiet residential street in Goodrington, Paignton. The house is situated just a stone’s throw from the nearby popular beaches of Goodrington sands and Broadsands beach as well as the South West Coastal Path. Just down the road are the local shops and takeaways of Goodrington and just up the road is Churston with the same.
As you enter the property via the side access after parking on the driveway, you find yourself in the conservatory/porch area. A very handy space for taking a seat and taking off your coats and shoes. There is a door leading out onto a balcony area here for you to enjoy that early morning coffee or late-night glass of wine! On the ground floor are two bedrooms; one double bedroom and the master kingsize bedroom with en-suite shower room. There is also the family bathroom boasting jacuzzi bath as well as shower enclosure. The open plan living space on the ground also doubles up as a great social space, with fully equipped kitchen and breakfast bar overlooking the dining area with table and chair and sofa seating. There is a wall mounted TV and a modern floor standing wood burner, great for keeping warm in the evenings and watching TV together while rustling up a meal.
Up the flight of stairs to the converted dormer area of the property is a living room with sofa seating and TV, another great living area for having separate members of the family to relax without all being in the same space. From here are double doors leading out onto a balcony to sit out on and take in the fantastic sea views. The third double bedroom is also accessed via a door from this first floor living area.
The rear garden at Brixham View House starts with a small patio with table and chair seating just outside of the conservatory/porch area. Steps then lead up to two tiered areas that look out above the property, with additional seating and a built-in stream-like water feature, this is yet another relaxing area that the property benefits from to sit out in and enjoy. The nearby local popular boating towns of Kingswear and Dartmouth are only a 15-minute drive away. The famous fishing town of Brixham is just a 10-minute drive up the road with its fresh fish restaurants. In the opposite direction are the towns of Paignton and Torquay making up the rest of the beautiful English Riviera and with an array of activities for the whole family!
