Manor Cottage
Manor Cottage is on Torrs Park in Ilfracombe. It's a 200 year old terraced cottage built into the hill, so the back looks out over the harbour.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom and a wet room are downstairs. Upstairs there's a second king size room, a room with bunk beds, and the main bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The stairs are original and quite steep.
The kitchen is fitted with old timber and slate. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. You get bedding and towels. There's parking for one car on the drive.
The living room doors open onto a small terrace garden. The view from there is across the whole harbour. You can often see the lifeboat out on training.
It's about a ten minute walk down to the harbour front. There are shops, cafes, and restaurants there. Damien Hirst's Verity statue is on the pier.
You're right on the South West Coast Path for walking. The beaches at Woolacombe and Croyde are about a fifteen to twenty minute drive. They're good for surfing. You can get boat trips from the harbour to Lundy Island.
For a wider day out, Exmoor National Park is about half an hour's drive. Barnstaple is twenty minutes away for bigger shops.
You can bring up to two dogs. We provide a highchair and a cot if you need them.
