The Snug is in Combe Martin, just off the main street that runs through the village. It's a detached cottage, so no shared walls. You get a parking space and your own enclosed garden.
It sleeps two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up to a good standard, it's clean and comfortable.
The layout is a bit different. The bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor. The living room and kitchen are upstairs. The stairs are fairly steep, just so you know. Being up there means you get a good view over the fields from the sofa.
The garden is enclosed. There's a table and chairs out there, and a barbecue. There's an electric vehicle charger on the driveway.
Combe Martin has a long beach, which is less than two miles from the cottage. It's about a five minute drive, or a 30-40 minute walk. The village itself has shops, pubs, and cafes. Everything you need is on your doorstep.
For walking, the South West Coast Path runs right through the village. You can head east towards Ilfracombe or west towards Heddon's Mouth. The Exmoor National Park starts just inland. You can be up on the moor in about 20 minutes by car.
Ilfracombe is about four miles away. There's a harbour, more shops, and the Tunnels Beaches. Lynton and Lynmouth are about 12 miles along the coast road, that's a nice trip.
Inside, there's a king-size bed, a bath with a shower over it, a TV, WiFi, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if needed. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
