Crumpet Cottage is on Fore Street in Ilfracombe. It's a terraced cottage in the old part of town. You can hear the seagulls.
It sleeps three people. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep and narrow.
You're right in the middle of things. There are pubs, cafes, and restaurants a few steps from the door. The harbour is about a two minute walk down the hill. The street has fairy lights up in the evenings, which is nice.
There's a small private sun terrace at the back. You get a view of the sea between the rooftops. It's a sunny spot for a coffee.
Facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, a washing machine, bedding and towels are included. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
For things to do, you're on the South West Coast Path. The beaches at Woolacombe and Saunton Sands are about a 15 minute drive away for surfing or long walks. Combe Martin and its wildlife park are a short drive west. Exmoor is about half an hour's drive if you want proper moorland.
