1 Little Beach
This is 1 Little Beach in Woolacombe. It’s an apartment, but it feels more like a house. The main thing is the view. You look straight out over Woolacombe Bay. It’s a full panorama.
It’s for six people. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That’s handy. One has a kingsize bed and sea views, one a double, and the third has bunk beds that are adult-sized. The living space is open plan, so everyone’s together. The kitchen has what you need – fridge, dishwasher, that sort of thing.
Outside, there’s a patio on two levels. It’s got seating and a hot tub. You can hear the sea from there. Parking is on site, which is a bonus in Woolacombe.
It’s a five minute walk down to the beach. The town centre, with shops and places to eat, is about the same. There’s a local pub close by.
If you want to explore, the Tarka Trail is good for cycling. You can drive to Ilfracombe in about ten minutes, or to Braunton Burrows, which is a big dune system. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coast here. For wider planning, Visit Devon has information.
Things to know: it’s up a hill, so the walk back from the beach is steep. The WiFi is fine for normal use. We allow up to two dogs. You’ll need to bring your own dog towels. Bedding and towels are included.
