Haybarn
Haybarn is a converted barn on a private estate near Pensilva, in Cornwall. It’s on the edge of Bodmin Moor, so you're straight out into that landscape. The village is a five minute walk.
It sleeps five in three rooms: one double, one twin, and a single. There's one bathroom with a shower cubicle. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable and well equipped, not luxurious. The living space is open plan, with the kitchen and sitting area together.
Outside, there’s a private patio. It gets the morning sun. The estate is quiet, just a few other cottages around.
You can walk onto the moor from the door. The coast is about a twenty minute drive. Looe and Polperro are the classic fishing villages nearby, both roughly twenty five minutes by car. If you want a big sandy beach, Whitsand Bay is about half an hour.
For a day out, the Eden Project is thirty minutes drive. There are good National Trust houses around: Lanhydrock is about forty minutes and Cotehele is just over half an hour.
Included facilities: parking, WiFi, TV, all bedding and towels. There’s a washing machine. No pets allowed.
