The Shippen
The Shippen is down a quiet lane near Bray Shop, about a five minute drive from Callington. It's a single-storey stone cottage, so everything's on one level.
It sleeps three people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not large or extravagant.
You enter into the main living area, which has the kitchen, dining and sitting space all together. There's a TV and a washing machine. Outside, there's a private seating area for the cottage, and you can also use the large shared garden. There's a big pond there with ducks.
There's plenty of parking right outside.
For local walks and history, Cotehele House is nearby. The Tamar Valley is good for walking. Kit Hill is close for a decent view. The nearest beaches, like Seaton and Portwrinkle, are about a 25 minute drive.
