The Stable is in Bray Shop near Callington. It's a detached single-storey stone barn conversion, so everything's on one level. You park right outside.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one's a double and one's a single, and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well put together. The ceilings upstairs are vaulted with Velux windows, so it's bright. Good for looking at the stars.
You get your own little patio area with a table and chairs. There's a big shared garden with a pond. There are ducks. You can feed them.
It's quiet here. For a pub or a shop, you'd drive to Callington, it's only a couple of miles. For the coast, Seaton or Portwrinkle are about twenty minutes by car. Millendreath is similar.
If you want to go out, Kit Hill is close. Good for a walk with views. Cotehele, the National Trust house, is about a fifteen-minute drive. The National Trust website has opening times. The Tamar Valley is all around you. Adrenalin Quarry is nearby if that's your sort of thing.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and all the bedding and towels are included. Parking for two cars. No pets.
