Rivendell Cottage is in Minions, which is a village on Bodmin Moor. It's a stone cottage, sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have king size beds. One of those has a TV, and it also has its own shower room.
It has a four star rating. The living room is at the front and has a wood burning stove. The kitchen is at the back and is a good size, with a table. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you have dogs. There's a bit of lawn and a deck with some furniture.
Minions itself is tiny. It's up on the moor, so the views are big. Sheep everywhere. There's a pub about a mile's walk away, and a cafe in the village. That's about it for here, which is the point really.
You're right by the moors for walking. The Hurlers stone circles are a short walk from the cottage. For a proper day out, the Eden Project is about half an hour's drive. So is Carnglaze Caverns. Golitha Falls is nice for a woodland walk, that's about 20 minutes away.
If you want the coast, it's a drive. The nearest proper beach is probably Downderry, which is about 25 minutes. Looe is a bit further, maybe 35 minutes.
Practical stuff: parking for two cars on the drive. WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
