North End Cottage is in Longframlington. It's detached so you're on your own. The place sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's a bathroom and the main bedroom has its own. Most of it is on the ground floor, which is useful.
The rating is five star. It's been done up nicely. There's a wood burner in the sitting room which works well. The kitchen doors open out onto a big patio garden, which looks over fields. There's parking for a few cars.
The village has a good shop, a butcher, and a bakery café. There are two pubs within walking distance. Both do food.
You're well placed here. Rothbury is only a few miles up the road. Alnwick is about twenty minutes away. The coast at Alnmouth or Warkworth is maybe fifteen, twenty minutes' drive. Cragside, the National Trust house, is very close and worth a visit. From here you can get up to the castles or down into Morpeth quite easily.
It says 'luxury property' which I suppose means it has things like a big fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's an enclosed garden.
If you're looking at walks or other places to visit, the Northumberland National Park and Visit Northumberland sites are good for ideas.
