Squirrel Leap Lodge is on Felmoor Park in Burgham. It's a detached lodge, so no shared walls. Sleeps four in two bedrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's in good nick.
The main bedroom has its own shower. There's also a proper bathroom with a bath. The living area is all open plan, with a fireplace. The kitchen's fine, it's got what you need including a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There's a deck that's fully enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing a dog. You can have up to two.
The park itself is quiet. There's a pub about a mile down the road. For a day out, Northumberland Country Zoo is just up the road, literally a few minutes' drive.
The coast is about twenty minutes away by car. Druridge Bay is good for long walks, Alnmouth and Warkworth have nice beaches too. Alnwick Castle is about a fifteen-minute drive. The gardens there are worth seeing. Northumberland National Park is under an hour away if you want proper walking or to see the dark sky area.
Facilities: it's got WiFi, a TV, dishwasher, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
