This is Jacks Place. It's a detached holiday lodge in Burgham, on the edge of Bockenfield Country Park. It's quiet up here.
It sleeps six people, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.
The main space is open plan, with the kitchen at one end and the living area at the other. There are patio doors out to a raised deck. You get sun out there in the afternoon. There's a table and chairs.
The hot tub is in a separate bit on the deck, under its own cover. It's private, not overlooked.
It's easy to get to, just off the A1. You're about four miles from Morpeth. It's a nice market town with a river walk, shops, and places to eat. Alnwick Castle is about nine miles away. It's the big one they used for Harry Potter. The famous Alnwick Garden is there too. The coast at Alnmouth is about fifteen minutes by car.
If you want to go further, it's about half an hour to Newcastle. Up north, you can get to Bamburgh Castle or Alnwick in under half an hour. Hadrian's Wall sites like Corbridge are about 35 minutes west.
The Northumberland Zoo is very close, maybe a mile away. So is Burgham Park Golf Course, if that's your thing. There are riding stables nearby too.
For facilities: it has parking right by the lodge, WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
Useful links if you're planning: Northumberland National Park for walking, and National Trust North East for places like Wallington or the coast.
