Clover Cottage is on the Burgham Park Golf Course. It's a stone cottage, one of several in a little group there. You get a patio area that looks directly out onto the course and the fields beyond. There's a first-floor balcony off the main living space.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor. Each one has its own bathroom, which is unusual and handy if you've got a full house. Two of the beds can be split into twins if you need that.
The main living area is upstairs. It's open plan, with the kitchen, dining and sitting room all together. There's a wood-burning stove for cooler nights. Because it's upstairs, the views are really good. You go out through the doors onto the balcony.
It's got underfloor heating and it's warm. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside the cottage.
The golf course is right there if that's your thing. Northumberland Zoo is about a mile away, just off the A1. It's good for kids. Alnwick and Morpeth are both about a 15 minute drive for shops and cafes.
The coast is about 20 minutes east. Wide, sandy beaches at places like Alnmouth and Warkworth. Bamburgh Castle and its beach is about a 40 minute drive north. Holy Island is a bit further, but you have to check the tide times for the causeway.
