The Hollies

Tucked away on a quiet road, The Hollies is a five bedroomed, quirky Victorian house, within walking distance of Train station, Lake Windermere, Marina, Cinemas, Theatre, Restaurants, Supermarkets, local shops, pubs, all within ¼ mile. Its location is perfect as no taxi or public transport is required when out for the evening. There are also incredible fells and Watersports are also just minutes away.
A large open plan kitchen/breakfast room has shaker style units with Belfast sink, granite worktops and double doors leading to an outside courtyard. A twin bedroom with wet room on the ground floor is helpful for those with limited mobility. Handmade white shutters, oil paintings, an intriguing collection of black and white photographs, teardrop chandeliers, Minton tiled hallway and Amtico bedroom floors provides interest, quality and space. Bath or shower rooms are provided with fluffy white towels, so don’t be tempted to bring your own. Rugs and throws fuse old and new, and French doors lead from the ’grown ups’ dining room with wood burner, to a private gravelled courtyard, whilst the little pocket garden at the front of house is lovely for a quiet moment. There’s even a fancy dress box full of fun and frolics for little ones. Shops, restaurants and pub ¼ mile.
