The Corner Cottage

Welcome to The Corner Cottage one of three properties available for booking. Situated in the rural location of Carnell Green, the hamlet is close to towns of Camborne, Hayle and St Ives and 3. 5 miles from Gwithian Beach. Each property is unique and offers a totally different feel, furnished to a high standard to provide hotel quality, whilst keeping the original charm of each property. This is an ideal base for people who are looking or a romantic getaway, love walking, cycling, surfing or who just want to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life!

Corner Cottage built in the 17th century, is quirky and full of original features, but beware - the door lintels to the living room and kitchen are low ! In the lounge you have the original granite fireplace with wood burner and a window seat, ideal for watching the many birds that visit. The kitchen/dining area is open plan, and the modern kitchen offers all the facilities you require whether you want to eat in every day or just have breakfast. A welcome pack of local produce is provided. At the front of the cottage is the bedroom with a kingsize bed and en-suite facilities. Outside, at the front is the enclosed garden with your own spa hot tub and sitting out area, ideal for morning coffee, a light lunch or an evening meal. A fantastic way to end a busy day is to watch the stars in the amazing clear skies.

Penbroath Retreats offers a tranquil environment for guests to unwind and relax. The beautiful courtyard houses a bespoke laundry room, a doggy wash station as well as an indoor heated pool, . Designated parking keeps cars away from the properties allowing guests to enjoy the peace and tranquility. There is so much to do here, you can walk the dogs through acres of fields from the property, or drive to the coast and follow one of the coast paths. Beaches in this part of the world are among the most beautiful. Choose from miles of sandy flat beaches to the more protected beaches at Gwithian surrounded by dunes, or travel to one of the smaller beaches off the beaten track at Godrevy. If you are looking for the best surf, you have both the north coast and the west to choose from.

The village has a local shop where wood and dog food can be purchased from the agricultural shop next to the property. If you don’t want to cook or eat out, order a takeaway - the delivery service is good with a wide choice available. There are beautiful restaurants in the area catering for all dietary requirements. Your four-legged friends will have a wonderful time here and will be begging you to bring them back for another adventure. Beach 3½ miles. These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 8 guests.
